Personalize CRAFT to you

CRAFT Tutorials · Advanced

CRAFT can tailor how it helps you — drawing on what it knows about you and your work — or it can stay completely neutral. You choose, it’s based on your consent, and whatever you share stays in your own project. You can switch either way at any time.

Two modes, your choice

Personalization in CRAFT is a clear on/off choice between two modes:

  • Mode A — personalization on. This is the “CRAFT remembers you” mode. With your consent, it tailors its help to details about you, your work, and your brand — so suggestions and outputs fit your context.
  • Mode B — personalization off. CRAFT does not tailor to any personal, organizational, or brand details. This is a genuine neutral mode — not a watered-down version of Mode A, but a fully respected “just help me plainly” state.

Good to know: personalization is consent-based, and anything you share to enable it lives in your own project — it’s yours. Choosing Mode B is always a valid choice, and CRAFT won’t keep nudging you back toward on.

Turn personalization on

To let CRAFT tailor its help to you, just ask:

›Turn on personalization.

From there you can tell CRAFT what you’d like it to remember — how you work, your preferences, your context — and it applies that going forward. Not sure what it’s using? Ask:

›What do you personalize to for me right now?

✓ You’ll know it worked when CRAFT confirms personalization is on and can tell you what it’s drawing on to tailor its help.

Turn it off

Prefer a clean, neutral assistant? Switch personalization off:

›Turn off personalization.

CRAFT stops tailoring to any of your details. Your information isn’t deleted — it simply isn’t used while you’re in the neutral mode, and you can turn personalization back on whenever you like.

✓ You’ll know it worked when CRAFT confirms it’s in the neutral mode and is no longer tailoring to you.

That’s personalization: a consent-based switch between tailored help and a neutral assistant, with your details kept in your own project and changeable any time. A good next step: if you want CRAFT’s outputs to match your look and voice, see Build a brand kit.
