What is a Founding Chef?
CRAFT for Claude Cowork is in Beta through September 1, 2026. Anyone who signs up before that date is a Founding Chef — recognition for the people who showed up early, while the framework was still being actively built.
Founding Chef is a status, not a tier. There’s no ladder to climb and no contribution score. You’re either a Founding Chef or you’re not, and the only way to become one is to join during the Beta window.
Straight talk: what we’re still figuring out
We’re still working out exactly what being a Founding Chef will include over time. There will be benefits for early supporters — but we’d rather get that right than promise specifics we haven’t fully thought through.
So here’s what we can honestly say today: the Beta is free for everyone, signing up marks you as a Founding Chef, and your feedback genuinely shapes what gets built. As the plan for Founding Chef firms up, we’ll share the details here.

The framework is free for everyone during the Beta — you don’t have to sign up to use it. Signing up does two things:
It marks you as a Founding Chef. A permanent record that you were here early, while CRAFT was still being shaped by the people using it.
It puts your feedback in the loop. CRAFT for Claude Cowork is built by one person — a senior incident responder who builds it the way he runs production systems: structured playbooks, documented decisions, traceable outcomes. During the Beta, the feedback you send through the site reaches the builder directly, and what you tell us — what’s working, what’s confusing, what’s missing — feeds real decisions about what gets built next.
September 1 is a real capacity constraint, not a marketing deadline: one person builds CRAFT for Claude Cowork, and the Beta window is sized to that. When it closes, the framework keeps working and stays free to download — the Founding Chef sign-up window is what closes.

Use it free, right now. Download the current release, unzip it, point Claude Cowork at the folder, and say “Initialize a CRAFT session.” No credit card, no email gate. New to CRAFT? Say “turn on tutorial mode.” Get the download →
Sign up to be a Founding Chef. Complete the sign-up flow before September 1, 2026 — that’s the step that records your permanent founding status.
Then tell us what you think. Use the framework for real work, and tell the builder what’s working, what’s confusing, and what’s missing. Each piece of feedback maps to a real decision: what gets built next, what gets cut, what gets revised. During the Beta, that feedback is the loudest signal in the room.
What signing up is not
It is not a course. No modules, no drip schedule, no completion certificate. CRAFT for Cowork is a working framework — you download it, you run it, you build with it.
It is not a newsletter. Your email is for account confirmation and operational updates only. No sequences, no re-engagement, no affiliate offers.
It is not a gated demo. No call to book, no sales conversation. The download and the docs are public. You evaluate on your own terms.
