CRAFT for Claude Cowork is in free public beta. It’s free for everyone — signing up marks you as a permanent Founding Chef and puts your feedback in the loop while the framework is still being shaped.

What Signing Up Does

The framework is free for everyone during the Beta — you don’t have to sign up to download it or use it. Signing up does two things:

  • It marks you as a Founding Chef. A permanent record that you were here early, while CRAFT was still being shaped by the people using it. Founding Chef is a status, not a tier — there’s no ladder to climb and no contribution score. The only way to become one is to join during the Beta window.
  • It puts your feedback in the loop. CRAFT for Claude Cowork is built by one person. During the Beta, the feedback you send through the site reaches the builder directly — what’s working, what’s confusing, what’s missing — and feeds real decisions about what gets built next.
  • No obligation. The Beta is free, so there’s nothing to cancel and no charge either way. Sign up because you want to help shape where CRAFT goes.

The Beta Window

CRAFT for Claude Cowork is in Beta through December 31, 2026. Anyone who signs up before that date is a Founding Chef. Why this date? The Beta was originally set to close September 1, 2026, and has been extended to December 31, 2026 — the honest reason is that one person builds CRAFT, and the window is sized to where the work actually is. Straight Talk: What We’re Still Figuring Out

We’re still working out exactly what being a Founding Chef will include over time. There may be benefits for early supporters — but we’d rather get that right than promise specifics we haven’t fully thought through.

So here’s what we can honestly say today: the Beta is free for everyone, signing up marks you as a Founding Chef, and your feedback genuinely shapes what gets built. As the plan for Founding Chef firms up, we’ll share the details here.

Common Questions

Can I cancel during the Beta if I change my mind?
Yes. You can cancel from your account dashboard at any time during the Beta. Since the Beta is free, there’s nothing to refund — your account simply closes. As long as Beta enrollment is open, you can rejoin, and Founding Chef status applies to anyone who signs up during the Beta.
Is there a paid plan after the Beta?
Not yet — that isn’t decided. The Beta is free for everyone through December 31, 2026. Whether parts of CRAFT ever become paid, and what that would look like, hasn’t been worked out, and we’re not going to promise a price, a discount, or a perk we can’t yet stand behind. If anything changes, we’ll set it out clearly and in advance. Anything you’ve already downloaded stays yours to use under the terms it had when you got it (see the Terms of Service, Section 4.4).
What happens to my account when the Beta ends?
When free Beta access ends, your account simply pauses — no charges, no auto-billing, no surprises. Your account data and settings stay saved, so if you come back later, everything is there waiting. Anything you downloaded during the Beta stays yours to use under the terms it had when you got it.
Will CRAFT ever cost money?
Maybe — but it isn’t decided, and there’s no price set today. The Beta is free for everyone. If parts of CRAFT ever become paid, we’ll explain it clearly and in advance — and we’re not going to promise a specific price, discount, or perk we haven’t worked out yet.
